The draft is intended to ensure that consumers in Romania are better informed regarding the treatment of the fruit and vegetables offered to them, as well as the fact that these products will not impact their lives or their health and the fact that certain pesticides can cause cancer.
This Order establishes the conditions that economic operators must meet in order to ensure that consumers are correctly, fully and precisely informed about the surface treatment of fruit and vegetables with pesticides.
