To standardise the technical procedures throughout the national territory for the periodic inspection of the instruments referred to in the technical data sheets reported. This directive adds 2 new sheets to those already defined by Decree 93/2017 and is framed in a context which aims to homogenise the activities of the bodies carrying out periodic inspection and to improve the effectiveness of controls by the competent authorities, in order to strengthen consumer confidence and to guarantee trade.
