In view of the important changes in the European legislative framework in recent years, a revision of the Law on the Control of the Use and Dissemination of Genetically Modified Organisms is necessary.
The scope of this draft law is the placing on the market of genetically modified products such as cotton, animals and decorative flowers as well as genetically modified foodstuffs and feed placed on the market. It shall not apply to the cultivation or rearing of such products in the European Union. It does not concern plant reproductive material.
