Explanation

The currently valid ZTV-ING 4-3, TL and TP KOR Steel Structures from 2021 are outdated and do not correspond to the current state of the art or the current European framework conditions. Therefore, new, more sustainable and high-performance coating materials (sheet 100) have been developed that allow renewal cycles to be extended to at least 50 years, offer improved environmental protection, enable wide application and thus represent the best approach to resource conservation. At the same time, the number of outdated TL sheets will be reduced so that, in addition to the positive effects on environmental protection, planning and tendering practice will be simplified and the financial burden on manufacturers will be reduced in the medium term.
